Two Factor Security Verification

The way we’ve traditionally logged into online banking has changed, and we’ve added an extra layer of security to ensure you are protected when banking digitally.

The first thing you’ll notice is a new login page. While it won’t look the same as what you’re used to, the first step is the same process you are used to. All you need here is your member number and your password.

After logging in, you’ll be asked to enroll in 2-Step Verification. This is a process that requires you to enter a 6-digit code, one that will be sent to you by email or text message anytime you login. The code arrives immediately, is different every time, and is only good for 10minutes once sent. So please be aware, to login to your online banking, you will need immediate access to either your text messages or your email.

Once enrolled, you will get that 6-digit code via email or text message – whichever you selected, and this code will allow you to login and conduct your online banking as usual.

1. Head to gfcu.com or open your mobile app & click “login”.


2. Enter your member number and password.



3. Select Email or Text message, and enter your information.



4. Open your Email or Text message to get your verification code.



5. Enter that code and proceed to login.


6. Finished!
